Manage Credentials

Note

As an instance administrator, you have access to all credentials on the platform.

Create a Credential

  1. Go to verified_user Administration Area > key Credentials and select password Credentials.

  2. Click New credential.

  3. Choose a Type: URL, Login or SSH Key. The form fields adapt depending on the type selected.

  4. Select a Provider — the vault where this credential will be stored.

  5. Fill in the credential fields for the selected type.

  6. Set the Visibility:

    • Public: accessible by all organizations by default.

    • Private: requires manual assignment to each organization.

  7. Add a comment if needed, then click Create.

Note

You can also create a credential directly from a specific vault: go to Credential Providers > click on your vault > Credentials tab > New credential. The Provider field will be pre-filled automatically.
