Manage Credentials¶
Note
As an instance administrator, you have access to all credentials on the platform.
Create a Credential¶
Go to verified_user Administration Area > key Credentials and select password Credentials.
Click New credential.
Choose a Type: URL, Login or SSH Key. The form fields adapt depending on the type selected.
Select a Provider — the vault where this credential will be stored.
Fill in the credential fields for the selected type.
Set the Visibility:
Public: accessible by all organizations by default.
Private: requires manual assignment to each organization.
Add a comment if needed, then click Create.
Note
You can also create a credential directly from a specific vault: go to Credential Providers > click on your vault > Credentials tab > New credential. The Provider field will be pre-filled automatically.
