Alerting Settings

Choose how long alerts are kept before they are purged from your instance.

Access: verified_user Admin Area > shield Network & Security > notification_important Alerting > settings Settings.

The Settings tab is only visible to instance administrators; organizations do not have access to it. The settings apply to the whole instance.

Change the Alert Retention

1. Open the settings Settings tab.

2. Enter the number of days in Alert retention (in days).

3. Click Save.

Options

• Alert retention (in days): how many days to keep resolved alerts and completed maintenance windows before deletion. Increase this value if you need a long-term history. Required.

• Purge cadence: how often old records are deleted. Read-only, set in the alerting worker’s configuration file.
